The Ramayana a life journey Sri Ram is narrated by songs, &#8221;Geetramayana&#8221; is a collection of that 56 Marathi songs chronologically describing events from the Indian Hindu epic, &#8216;The Ramayana&#8217; by songs. The Ramayana, it was broadcast by AIR, Pune in 1955\u20131956, four years before television was introduced in India, Written by Hon. G. D. Madgulkar and the songs being composed by Shri. Sudhir Phadke. &#8216;Geet-Ramayana&#8217; was acclaimed for its lyrics, music and singing. It is considered a &#8220;milestone of Marathi light music and the &#8220;most popular&#8221; Marathi version of Ramayana.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-text-color has-background has-medium-font-size\" style=\"color:#e18936;background-color:#d0f2f3\"><strong>So, Hon. G. D. Madgulkar is known as &#8216;Modern Valmiki&#8217;, who is great Writer, Poet and Composer and he has called &#8216;Masterpiece of Maharashtra&#8217; because of his composition work of art, music and literature etc. which is of the highest quality. The creation of &#8216;Geetramayan&#8217; is done by the miracle touch of writing of Hon. G. D. Madgulkar and it is sung by the singer Hon. Sudhirji Phadke by his supernatural tone of singing. And the audience from Maharashtra is totally enchanted by performances of singer Hon.
