9th August celebrated with Prisoners
Historical moments of any country have an importance to move forward. similarly 9th August revolution Day has much more importance in Indian history because the freedom movement become more comprehensive and aggressive against british rule and has taken diversion. remembering Freedom Fighters. In the history of India, 9 August is remembered as the day of “August Kranti” or “August Kranti Diwas”. In 1942 Mahatma Gandhi Initiated the full and final revolution against the British Empire on the name of “Quit India Movement”.
On the occasion of August Kranti Din, SKVSP has celebrated this day three years consistently on 9th August with prisoners. All prisoners have participated very excitedly. The purpose of this event was to inculcate patriotism in the their minds of prisoners. The books on Sant Tukaram Maharaj ‘Tukaram Gatha’ and book of great writer V. S. Khandekar including “Yayati” a novel and anthology & many more other novels have been donated to prisoner on this occasion. SKVSP is always helps events like this till today.
